My 3 month Journey

I started out weighing 154 lbs at the start of 2011. I tried all the diet pills out there, who would have known it was as simple as eating better and drinking a lot of water. My waist was 32 inches my hips were 40 inches.

I am now 142-143 lbs my waist is 26 inches and my hips are 36 inches!!! Between the 2 that is 10 inches GONE!!!

I love the picture of my back side the most, the rolls on my back are gone, my ass isnt eating my shorts anymore. LOL!!! I actually have a gap between my legs!!! :)

So I love the gym now, well I loved it before, but I love when people see me and like holy cow what are you doing!! The compliments keep me going!!!
I love Les Mills classes... My favorite ones are BodyPump, and BodyCombat. I also like doing BodyStep and BodyAttack...RPM not my favorite so much, but I love to spin it out.
Pump is where I get most of my lifting in and I try to do it at least twice a week, but 3 at the most, every other day to give myself a break!!! :)

This morning was a rough day at the gym so I just did spin, but kept my intensity down..I havent taken a break all week and my legs are exhausted...one more day and I get Sunday off!!!

New Year 2011

BLACK IS NOT ALWAYS SLIMMING!!!

I was getting ready for our New Years parties, and after trying on what felt like a billion shirts and none of them fitting me I knew it was time to change!!! I had heard about bodybuilding.com doing a $100,000 Body Transformation and I knew I had to do it for the motivation!!

I spent the first week pretty much detoxing my body but I knew if I was going to do this I was going to need help from somewhere else. Thats when I remembered all my gym friends and a couple of my family members talking about how wonderful TheBodyEvolution products were so I had to try them. I went there just expecting to buy the products, but Jason Hansen the owner of the company took me under his wing and told me to come back and he would sit down with me and give me an eating plan. (My BIGGEST struggle all these year!!)

I went back the following week and he sat down with me for a long time, and combed through all the things I was doing wrong ang helped me fix EVERYTHING I have been doing wrong for 7 years now!!!

So here is the foods that I am eating. But mainly I will tell you what I do:
I have to put a protein and a carb together and a veggie

For Breakfast:
I do a banana and egg whites with onions and/or peppers in it
or I do Kashi cereal cuz it has whole grains and protein

A protien shake at 1030

Lunch :
I do a protein, usually chicken...brown rice and a veggie

3 or 3:30 I do a kashi granola bar and another protein shake

Dinner:
Same as lunch only I dont do a carb after 6 so no bread or rice

protein shake before bed

I cant have any sugar at all, even artifial sugar, its easier to stay away
The first week was hard to come off the sugar though!!!

So with all that food I have to workout and I workout a lot. It varies by week but I do 5-6 days a week 1-2 hours a day!!!

I do work 2 jobs and I have 2 kids, my husband also has 2 jobs, so everyone that thinks there is not enough time to work out I BEG to differ!!! If I can do you can do it!

I DO GET ONE CHEAT DAY A WEEK USUALLY SUNDAY OR A HOLIDAY!!! :)

The Beginning!!

I'm starting back over 7 years ago when I got pregnant with my son!!! I was 19 when I got pregnant, lets just say I wasn't the smartest pregnant 19 year old..NO PUN INTENDED!! But I started out weighing 135 lbs, I thought I could eat everthing in site..(I had to feed 2 people right???) In June of 2004 I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy that weighed 8 lbs 12 oz (HUGE) , well so was I, I gained 55 lbs with him, weighing in at 190lbs. I had to have a C-section on top of all of that weight!!! :(

2 Years later I gave birth to another baby a beautiful baby girl. She only weighed 7 lbs 15 oz. Although I was smarter about gaining weight, and worked out through this whole pregnancy, I started out at 160 ish and weighed the same when I gave birth to her.

5 years after both my kids were born I went to a plastic surgeon that pretty much told me my belly will never look normal again and I strongly agreed with him!!!

Before my Tummy Tuck

After my Tummy Tuck!!! (GROSS)

I am so glad I made the decision to have the Tummy Tuck but that didnt make me happy with my body, I was still 20-25 lbs over weight!!! The start of this year is where my journey began!!! :)
